More clever stuff from my Mum!

My wonderful, creative, thoughtful mum spent a week of her school holidays making some outfits for P. I love them and they look heaps better than the pictures on the cover of the patterns they were made from!!

Theres a cute pinafore/dress and some lovely overalls (yay - they're green, not hot pink!!!)

And a double-sided jacket (the pattern side goes perfectly with the overalls, while the soft pink side matches the dress). The pattern was one-sided, but my clever mum thought it would work even better with two differently patterned sides...and she was right! Its lovely and warm for this chilly winter weather we've been having.

And some pink pants to match. The great thing about these pants and the overalls, is that they have press-studs for the legs - so I don't have to take the whole thing off to change P's nappy (makes both me and P happy, as she's recently discovered how to express her discontent at sitting still for a nappy change!)

(She used Burda pattern 9647 - amended - for the jacket and Burda pattern 9831 for the dress, overalls and pants)

Wow cool. She looked great in the little dress yesterday :) Didn't realise there was a matching jacket! Your mum is super talented..
