I think there are 2 types of people in the world, those who collect things and those who don't.
PH is a collector and I am not. When we first married, I had 8 CDs and he had about 200 (he's also more musical than me!). We both love books, but I will buy books I plan to read fairly immediately whereas he has a good few dozen books (or more!) he'd like to read some day (or that he is part-way through reading). He's also collected/gathered DVDs and wine.
One of his latest 'collections' is glasses - wine glasses, beer glasses, small espresso glasses, you name it.
On another note, P is loving her new mobility and is taking every opportunity to explore. She's enjoying the new territory at my parents place and has found lots of interesting things. On saturday I put her down in the lounge room after doing a quick check that there was nothing on the floor. From the next room (open doorway) I suddenly heard a little 'chink!'.
There was P, sitting in front of my mum's china cabinet, door open, holding a wine glass in her hand, observing the light playing on the glass and enjoying the lovely sounds it made!!! (and yes, I did move her away very quickly)
Hmm, she's a lot like her daddy...

:)cute.
I'm with PH--definately a collector. I love hunting for things, like old books or cd's, things that you have to go out of your way to track down. Then I get a big sense of satisfaction when I have it....then it suuits on a shelf gathering dust.
